New Boundaries, New Seat!

The changes here mean that Shepherds Bush goes into a new seat called Hammersmith while the wards of Walpole and Ealing Common from Ealing Southall join Ealing Broadway, Hanger Hill, East Acton, South Acton, Acton Central and Southfields to form the new seat of Ealing Central and Acton. The next General Election will be fought on these new boundaries.

The local Labour MP, Andrew Slaughter has already got himself selected as the Labour candidate for the new seat of Hammersmith which means he will be expected to devote most if not all his time to the Shepherds Bush area which will follow him into Hammersmith. Angie says she looks forward therefore to doing all she can to champion the best interests of residents in Ealing Central & Acton from now on.
