Angie carried out an online survey on benefit payments. The question was: Is it right to restrict benefit payments so that no benefit recipient receives more than someone in work on the average national wage of about £25,000?

Angie carried out an online survey on drink driving. The question was: The law currently sets a limit of 80 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood as the maximum that can be drunk before driving. The North Review recently recommended that this limit should be brought down, to 50 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood, so as to reduce road traffic accidents. Should the limit

(a) Remain the same, at 80mg

or

(b) Be reduced, to 50mg

54% of respondents thought that the limit should remain the same, at 80mg.

46% of respondents thought that the limit should be reduced, to 50mg.


Angie carried out an online survey on dangerous dogs. The question was: Are you concerned that dangerous dogs are blighting our parks and open spaces?

89% of respondents said YES

11% of respondents said NO
